Paper 3 · 30%
Listening & Integrated Skills
Part A 拿事實與「被否決項目」;Part B 改卷看有沒有用對檔。三套任務。讀檔步驟見下,完整改卷說明在 改卷視角。
老師教的讀檔六步
- 讀 task 圈文體 — email / article / report / letter of complaint?

Model · email to Ms Ho
To: Ms Ho, Principal From: Chris Wong, English Team / SA Subject: Proposal for a three-month late study-room trial Date: 3 October Dear Ms Ho, I am writing on behalf of the Student Association to propose a three-month trial of a late study room, and to ask for your reply by 10 October. A survey of 180 S.5–S.6 students found that 71% need a quiet place after 8 p.m. and 44% now stay in fast-food shops. 63% said they would use a staffed school room. We suggest Language Room 2, which Facilities confirm is free after 6 p.m. and has a new lock, from Monday to Thursday, 8–11 p.m. We understand your concern about security after last year’s alarm incident. A janitor is on site until 10:30; after that a teacher-on-duty would be required. We will prepare a real duty roster rather than a poster only. There is no budget for snacks, and we will not request any. One worry in the survey is the last minibus at 11:20, so we will advertise the 11 p.m. close clearly. We would be grateful if you could let us know by 10 October whether the trial may begin. Yours sincerely, Chris Wong

Host: With us is Ms Ivy Ng from Green Roof, about the new planters at West Rail secondary schools. Ivy, how many schools this term? Ivy: Eighteen — up from eleven last year. But three dropped out because the roof leaked. Host: And the budget? Ivy: The grant is twenty thousand dollars per school, but it cannot be spent on snacks or T-shirts — only soil, pots and a water point. Host: Any surprise? Ivy: Yes. We thought S.1 would do the watering. In fact the most reliable team is a group of S.5 prefects at 7:15 a.m. They said it calms them before tests. Host: And a warning? Ivy: Don’t plant coriander in August. It bolts. We lost a whole box. Also, one principal wanted a selfie wall. We said no — that’s not in the grant.
How many schools are in the scheme this term?

Chair: Open Day is 18 November, Saturday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. — not Sunday, the hall is booked. Ben: Last year we printed 400 booklets and had 90 left. I suggest 320. Chair: Agreed. No balloons — the cleaner complained. We can have one roll-up banner at the gate. May: Student guides: 24, in pairs, shift A 9–11, shift B 11–1. Light blue shirts, not the PE kit. Chair: Food? The PTA wanted a barbecue. Fire rules say no. Packed biscuits in the covered playground only. Ben: Closing time for visitors is 12:45 so we can clear by 1.
Open Day is on…
